In the departmental derby match, Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Police Club 2-0 on Monday and qualified for the semi-finals of the KP Oli Cup football tournament. Navyug Shrestha and Dinesh Heinjan scored goals for Army in the match at the ANFA complex in Satdobato. The host KP Oli FC also reached the last four by winning the next match on Monday.

Navyug scored the first goal in the 19th minute in Army's victory. Dinesh added another goal in the 81st minute of the game. In the first match of the day, KP Oli FC defeated NRT 1-0. The decisive goal was scored by Surajju Thakuri. He scored the decisive goal in the 63rd minute. 

His shot from outside the penalty area took a straight path and turned into a goal. Oli FC will face the winner of the match between Machindra or Bhutan's Transford United for a place in the final. Army will play the winner of the match between Sankata and APF in the next semi-final.
