The third national 'Tug of War' is going to be held this week under the auspices of the Nepal Dorian Association. The competition will be held on February 16 and 17 at SOS Harmon Minor School in Sano Thimiko, Bhaktapur.
There will be 10 teams for men and 8 teams for women. The association gave information about the competition during a press conference held on Monday.
162 players from 16 teams will participate in both men and women. Competition will be held in 640 kg weight group for men and 580 kg weight group for women.
The male winner will get one lakh and the female winner will get Rs 60,000. Bhawani Prasad Poudel, president of the association, said that the total budget of the competition is 31 lakh rupees.
