As the fifth tournament of the season, the Surya Nepal NPGA Tour Championship will be held from Tuesday. The championship to be held at Gokarna Golf Club will last for four days and will consist of 72 holes. The total prize money of the competition is 8 lakh 82 thousand rupees.

In the press conference held on Monday, Deepak Acharya, Secretary General of Nepal Professional Golfer Association said that the winner will get Rs. There will be a total of eight tournaments in Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2024-25. 30 professional and 10 amateur golfers will compete in the

competition. Along with Nepal's number one pro golfer Bhuvan Nagarkoti, Neeraj Tamang, Ravi Khadka, Dinesh Prajapati, Jairam Shrestha, Dhan Thapa and Sanjay Lama are seen as the main contenders.

They will be given a tough challenge by the number one golfer Sadbhava Acharya and Rahul Vishwakarma. The cut will be applied at the end of 36 holes. The top 21 players will secure spots for the remaining 36 holes.
