Exactly 8 days ago, Uzbekistan's Black Bulls FC won the 24th edition of the Aha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup in Pokhara. But the first match of the KP Oli Cup Championship started on Sunday.
APF FC advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating the Black Bulls 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out in the opening match at the ANFA Complex on Sunday. APF's goalkeeper Angel Shrestha became the hero by saving two shots from the Black Bulls in a match that was pushed to a penalty shootout after both sides failed to score at the scheduled time.
APF will compete with Sankata Club for semi-final entry. The winner of the competition, which will run until February 18, will get 15 lakh 11 thousand 111 and the runner-up will get 5 lakh rupees.

competition will get Rs 1 lakh, best goalkeeper, top scorer and emerging player will get Rs 50,000. The winning team of each match will get 25,000 and the player of the match will get 15,000.
9 teams are competing in the tournament organized by the National Youth Association of Nepal. There will be two games on Monday. The first match will be played at 11.30 am between Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club and the second match will be held at 3 pm between host KP Oli FC and New Road Team.
