Cricketer Dipendra Singh Airi has been felicitated in his hometown Mahendranagar. The Kanchanpur Industry and Commerce Association felicitated and honored him on the occasion of the opening of the 16th Tourism Festival on Monday.

All-rounder cricketer Airy was made to circumambulate Mahendranagar market in Rath Yatra . Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply Damodar Bhandari presented him with an award of 51,000 rupees along with a certificate at the open stage of the festival.

Airi, a permanent resident of Kanchanpur's Bhimdatta municipality, has a record of making a half-century in 9 balls in cricket. He is known as Tiger and was handed over the bat and ball by Pitambar Joshi, President of Kanchanpur Industry and Commerce Association.
