Nepali national cricket team all-rounder Dipendrasingh Airi has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Nepal Super League franchise team Dhangadhi FC.

The promoter of Dhangadhi FC, Subas Shahi, said that he has selected Dipendra as the brand ambassador of his team. Dipendra was at Dhangadhi's table in the Saturday auction of NSL.

In the first season, Dhangadhi's brand ambassador was South Asian Games record medalist Deepak Bisht and in the second season, content creator Miss Pubi. "We are happy to appoint Dipendra as the ambassador of Dhangadhi FC, he has taken Nepali cricket to a new height, it is also a matter of pride for the Far Western Province," Shahi, the promoter of Dhangadhi, said in the team's statement.

Dipendra has taken 948 runs and 38 wickets in 60 one-day internationals and 1725 runs and 49 wickets in 74 Twenty20 internationals from Nepal. He is one of the few Nepali players who scored centuries in both these formations. Dipendra said that he will do his best to make the sports fans of Far West memorable.

Dhangadhi's marquee player is Kshitijratna Chunju. The team has recently signed Lebanese striker Ahmed Hijazi on loan from Bourge FC, a team playing in the Lebanese Premier League. Hijaji also played for Dhangadhi in the 2023 season and scored 4 goals to lead the team to the finals. Dhangadhi was the runner-up in the first two seasons of the NSL.
