The title of the third archery competition held at Khandbari of Sankhuwasabha has been won by Jyvasyari Ngaptak Chighulung team of Bhotkhola.
Jyvasyari won the title by scoring 4950 points in the final competition held at Khandbari Stadium on Sunday. Kimathanka's team became the runner-up by scoring 4690 points.
winner Jyavasyari received 1 lakh 6 thousand and runner-up Kimathanka received 56 thousand cash. In the tournament, Vikas Bhote of the Pibu team was declared the man of the match.
Since the competition was in 30 meter standard category, 6 players of each team had the opportunity to play twice in each competition. The winner was announced based on the score. In the
competition, Pibu team came third and Bhotkhola Archery Association came fourth.
District Archery Association has organized the game on the occasion of 2152nd Gyalpo Lhosar. Chairman Pasang Bhote said that archery is a traditional game of the Bhote caste living in Bhotkhola rural municipality, so it was organized for the preservation of culture. 9 teams participated in the competition.
