Mangalsen Municipality has won the title of 15th district level President's Running Shield. According to Keshar Khadka, Chairman of the District Sports Development Committee, Mangalsen Municipality came first by getting 7 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals in the competition held in Chowrapati Rural Municipality of the district.

Panchadeval Vinayak Municipality got 5 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze and  Sanfebagar municipality came third by getting 4 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze. In the

competition  Ramaroshan rural municipality won 3 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze, Turmakhand and  2 gold, 3 bronze, Mellekh 2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze, Kamalbazar Municipality 2 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze,  Chowrapati rural municipality got 1 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze . Bannigarhi Jaigarh Rural Municipality and Dhakari Rural Municipality were without gold in the competition. These two local levels got only one bronze. 

Chairman Khadka said that the selection of players for the state-level President's Running Shield competition to be held in Dhangadhi on February 23, 24, 25 has also been announced. The competition was inaugurated by Meghraj Khadka, Minister of Social Development of Sudurpaschim Province.
