Prateek Subedi of Manakamana Secondary School won the title in the first Vajrabarahi Kathmandu Valley Intelligence Competition sponsored by Godavari Municipality.
Prateek won the 7 round match organized by Godavari Nagar Buddhichal Sangh by scoring 6.5 points. Prateek won a trophy with 4,000 in the competition in which 60 schools of Kathmandu Valley participated.
A total of 120 students participated in the competition and Hardik Pant of Pushpa Sadan came second on the basis of progressive points with 6 points. Sreejit Shrestha of Excelsior School came third.
, with equal 6 points, Sanju of Pavilion Chess Academy was fourth and Jesic Mainali of Flossant was fifth. Oscar Panthi of Pavilion Chess Academy, Abhash Rimal of Triyog High School, Shyam Ujjwal Maharjan of Adarsh Saul, Satwikman Tuladhar of Himalayan Chess Academy and Sosam Shrestha of Pavilion won the top ten positions.
Yashasvi Sharma of Medha Secondary Bhaktapur became the winner by scoring 6.5 points. She won 4 thousand. Angel Maharjan of Greenhill was second and Ojashwi Shrestha of Annapurna High School was third.
Mankamana's Precious Adhikari, Sanskriti Gajurel, Sri Shringeri Umavi's Isha Ghimire, Balkunj's Inshu Oli, Prerna Vidyashree's Alisha Maharjan, Sirius's Anuja Gharti and Prakriti Rai were victorious in fourth to tenth place.
Vibhav Joshi of Bajr Academy from Godavari Nagar, Vivin Gurung and Biratjung Shahi of Laliguras stood first, second and third respectively. Kamana Thapamgar of Laliguras, Nandalakshmi Khadka of Kitiniki and Parisa Pahri were the winners on the women's side.
