There will be a fear when the second day of the Four Nations Cup, which is an international women's football championship, ends on Wednesday, it is not long before the equation of the two teams that will reach the final.

That means that two teams will advance before the last day of the league stage, while the remaining two teams will only have to play prestige games. This is how it should be, because at least on paper, Myanmar and Nepal are strong. Myanmar will face Kyrgyzstan first in the match at Dashrath Stadium. 

Then Nepal will play against Lebanon in 'flood lights'. After winning their first match, Myanmar is at the top with 3 points based on goal difference. Then Nepal is behind with 3 points. Without any points are Kyrgyzstan and Lebanon. On the first day, Myanmar defeated Lebanon 3-1 and Nepal defeated Kyrgyzstan 1-0. In the end, those attacks proved to be pointless. Therefore, both Myanmar and Nepal will have the same goal. They will look for not only victory, but victory by a good margin. In the hope of improvement, Lebanon

Lebanon, ranked lowest in the tournament, stopped Myanmar in a goalless draw in the first half. Not only that, Lebanon has proved by returning a goal, its players did not come to Nepal just to play. Even in that game, Lebanon did not field all of their first-choice players. Only a few players had arrived in Kathmandu when the match was going on. This will be a stronger Lebanese team and will be different. We are definitely a young team and have gone through a lot of changes. We certainly lost the game against a strong Myanmar, but there were a lot of positives in our approach. We will try our best against Nepal. For us, it will mean a lot to play against Nepal in front of a large number of supporters,' said Lebanese coach Wael Gharzedine. 

Nepali coach Tamang will have a challenge to bring players according to his football philosophy. In his own words, Nepali players are not in harmony. Their performance against Kyrgyzstan was largely sloppy. "When the game against Lebanon arrives, the team will be in harmony," says coach Tamang. His greatest weapon will be Savitra Bhandari. Expectations of goals from him this time will be high. 

Nepal is waiting for his 56th goal. This number is expected to increase further. Savitra came on in the second half against Kyrgyzstan, but failed to weave an accurate attack. Especially in the attack, there is a lack of coordination between him and Rekha Paudel. The sooner this deficiency is resolved, the better it will be for Nepali women's football. Nepal has faced Lebanon once so far. That game was memorable in many ways. 

In the 2024 WAF Championship, Nepal defeated Lebanon 2-1 in the semi-finals. That victory was a struggle for Nepal in many ways. In the 75th minute of the game, Savitra returned the equalizer. Preeti Rai then scored the decisive goal in the fifth minute of second half injury time. Only then did Nepal feel relief. 

Soft-spoken Myanmar

Everyone knows that Myanmar is the strongest team in the Four Nations Cup. Finally, Myanmar is a team that has played five times in the Asia Cup.
