Pokhara Thunders has made Sameer Tamang the 'marquee' player for the third Nepal Super League (NSL). Suman Shrestha, the head coach of Pokhara, entrusted him with the responsibility of marquee.

Sameer became the marquee player for the first time in the NSL. He said, "Pokhara has given me the responsibility of marquee, I am very happy." Ayush Ghalan is the captain.
