Three Star Club has reached the semi-finals of the 7th Bagmati Gold Cup National Football Tournament. Three Star reached the last four after defeating Himalayan Sherpa Club 4-0 in the second quarter-final at Shaheed Smriti Stadium located in Bagmati-4.
Sushil Rai scored in the 3rd minute, Naveen Lama in the 17th minute and foreign player Fofana scored in the 24th minute in Three Star's victory. Naveen Lama was declared Man of the Match. He received Rs 10,000.
Himalayan Sherpa has been eliminated from the tournament after conceding four goals in the first half. Threestar is the winner of the fourth edition. Himalayan 3rd Edition is the runner-up.
In the fourth edition, Threestar won the title by defeating the foreign team African Roots Association. Himalayan Sherpa was defeated by Jawalakhel Yuva Club.
