Devendra, Ramchandra and Randeep retained by Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi City FC has retained 3 players including captain Devendra Tamang for the upcoming Nepal Super League (NSL). Dhangadhi has retained Devendra Tamang, Ramchandra Vajhi and Randeep Poudel. Devendra has been retained in 'A' category and Ramchandra and Randeep in 'B' category.

Dhangadhi played the final in the last season of NSL under the captaincy of Devendra two years ago. Dhangadhi FC said that three players have been retained according to the rules that allow them to be retained. Dhangadhi has already appointed Kritisharat Chunju as the marquee player. 

The club made the 21-year-old young attacking midfielder a marquee on Sunday. Chunju played the first season in the NSL from Bootball Lumbini FC. The second season reached Dhangadhi. Dhangadhi is the runner-up team in both editions.

Dhangadhi has appointed Bhishma Bhat as assistant coach. Dhangadhi, which owns Go Dreamers, appointed Bhat as an assistant coach during an event in Dhangadhi on Monday. Assistant coach Bhat and Go Dreamers president Suvash Shahi signed an agreement for the third edition. Bhat said that he is happy to work in the team of his own city. He also said that he will do his best to get the best results for the team.

In the final of the first edition, Dhangadhi was defeated by Kathmandu Razors 1-0. In the next edition, Lalitpur City defeated Dhangadhi 3-2 in the final. The auction of the third edition will be held on Saturday. Seven teams including Dhangadhi are competing in this year's NSL.
