Nepal APF School Kirtipur 'A' has reached the finals of the 2nd Inter-School Armed Police Inspector General Running Trophy Football Tournament. The host team defeated Nepal Police School Sanga 4-0 in the second semi-final held on Monday.
From home team APF School, Vikas Bohora, Tenzing Sherpa, Dipesh Gurung and Sagar Khatri scored 1 each. Sagar Khatri of APF School was selected as player of the match. Yuvraj Parajuli, Principal of APF School, presented the trophy to him.
APF School will play Sainik Residential College Sallaghari in the final on Thursday. Sainik defeated Bright Horizon Children's Home Matatirth 2-1 in the first semi-final on Sunday. Rojit Khatri and Safal Thapa from Sainik and Birendra Upadhyay from Bright Horizon scored the goals.
