On the occasion of the 43rd Nepal Magar Association Foundation Day, Nepal Magar Association Baglung is going to organize the fourth edition of the 'Lakhan Cup Sports' competition.

Baglung president of the association Shyam Bahadur Pun informed that the association is going to hold a press conference on Sunday from 11th to 15th of February. Men's and women's volleyball competition, men's and women's chelo competition, men's and women's rassakassi (stick pulling) competition will be organized in Lucknow Cup. Ward-level groups will be allowed to participate in volleyball, while other sports will be free and open.

For men's volleyball, 81 thousand 1 81 and 41 thousand 141 rupees will be given to the first prize. According to the organizer, the first runner-up for women will be given 30,000 rupees and the second runner-up will receive 15,000 rupees.

In the youth competition, 8000 and 4000 for the first male and 4000 for the second and 5000 and 2500 for the female will be awarded. 

It is said that prizes will be given to the first 5,000 for men and 3,000 for the second, 4,000 for the first and 2,000 for the second for women. 

The association has been organizing the Lucknow Cup continuously for four years. Organizers estimate that 4 lakh rupees will be spent on organizing the games. Apart from that, the main ceremony will also be held on February 15th.

Since 30 percent of the total population of the district is Magar community, Pune said that the day is also celebrated for identification.
