Nepal Police School Sanga and Nepal APF School Kirtipur 'A' reached the semi-finals of the 2nd Inter-School Armed Police Inspector General Running Trophy football competition on Friday.

Bright Horizon Children's Home and Sainik Residential College Sallaghari have already secured a place in the semi-finals.

Police School defeated Nepal APF School Kirtipur (B) by 4-1 goals at the same ground. Utsav Khadka, Dipsan Pandey, Sivan Parajuli and Manis Vanrait scored 1 each for Police. In the second quarter-final, APF School (A) defeated Nepal APF Kohalpur 2-1. Prince Moktan and Vikas Bohora scored for the winners.

Dipsan Khadka of Police and Manav Khatri of APF School Kohlpur, who were selected as the best players, were awarded trophies by Saprani Manoj Bista, Head of School Security and Rajkumar Pyakurel, Assistant Principal of APF School.
