The host Himali Boarding School has started the first Himali Inter-School Basketball Tournament with the senior boys and girls winning.
On Friday, Himali defeated Wilson Academy 23-10 in the senior girls' home court. Radha Bohra of Himali added 16 scores. In senior boys, Himali beat Chaitanya by 31-23 lost Himalayan Sudeep Yadav scored 23.
In the girls, Green Lawns beat AGM 8-4. Sonny Ghale of Greenlawns scored 4. In senior boys, Canvas beat Anupam 51-35, Acme beat Care English 48-20, Kathmandu Xavier Public beat Green Lawns 28-16 and Wilson beat Florida 47-38. In the Junior Boys, Green Lawns won the canvas 10-9. The
competition was jointly inaugurated by Shyam Yonjan, the former vice president of Kathmandu NPABSON, and Netra Prasad Upadhyay, the principal of Himalaya.
