In the 11th edition of the Excelsior Cup, 6 teams won the title on Friday. 2 in basketball and 4 teams including the host The Excelsior School have become champions in boys' futsal.

In basketball, Valley View won gold in senior boys and gold in girls. In futsal, Rai School in U-9, Swastishree Gurukul in U-11, Excelsior in U-14 and Ribs in U-16 won the title.

In the boys basketball final, Valley View defeated Radiant Public with a score of 70-42. Ganesh Bahadur Bista of Valley scored 38. On the girls' side, Swarnim defeated Ribs 22-20 on Hisilhamu Lama's 10 scores.

Valley View's Ganesh Bahadur Bista and Swarnim's Nitisha Maharjan were declared Most Valuable Players in Senior Boys. Baby Angel in Boys and Rai School in Girls became the 'Emerging Team'.

Rai School defeated Sanskriti by 2-1 in the U-9 final of Boys Futsal held at the host Excelsior ground in Swayambhu. Rai's Rehankumar Shrestha and Abhas Regmi scored the goals.

In the U-11 title clash, Swastishree beat Excelsior by 1-0 goals. Arnav Bhattarai scored the decisive goal. In the U-14 final, Excelsior defeated Vidyavani Pathshala by 4-2 goals. Krish Pandey scored a hat trick and Sahilraj Thapa added 1 goal. Vidyawani's Abhinga Kadaria and Prajwal Gautam scored the goals.

In the U-16 final, Ribs registered a 6-0 victory over Bodhisattva. Ribs' Shraman Gurung, Ayush KC, Aryan KC, Rison Lama, Blaise Gurung and Vineeth Shrestha scored 1-1 goals.

Arshav Khadka of Sanskriti, Ojas Pathak of Excelsior, Sahilraj Thapa of Excelsior and Shraman Gurung of Ribs were declared the best players in their category. Isak Rana of Rai School, Sameer Bohra of Swastishree, Anshuman Vaidya of Excelsior and Aarus KC of Ribs were selected as the best goalkeepers.

The winner was awarded by former Sports Minister Virajbhakt Shrestha, Excelsior Managing Director Ram Basnet, Excelsior Chairman Sheetal Rana, Excelsior Principal Prashant Rajak.
