Jude Bellingham's stoppage-time goal helped Real Madrid beat Manchester City 3-2 in the European Champions League on Tuesday.

In one game of the first leg of the play-off tie, Real made a great comeback by reversing the position of being behind twice. Paris Saint Germain (PSG) has taken full control of the situation in the match against its French rival Brest.  After Erling Haaland scored two goals in the 'blockbuster' match of the

competition, Pep Guardiola's team is looking to take the lead by a small margin. However, after the win, Real, the defending champion of the tournament, has become a strong candidate to enter the next stage. The second leg to reach the last 16 will be played in Spain next week. "We played the best football of the season. But we fell behind twice, that's what happens in football," Wellingham said.

His response was, 'I don't care what rhythm the city is in. City itself is a very strong team. Playing against City is never easy. We were able to take advantage of the opportunities at the end of the game. This is the fourth season in a row that City and Real have met in the knockout stages of the Champions League. Out of that, the team that has won the tie has also won the title on three occasions.

City had a slow start in the match at the Etihad. Meanwhile, Holland opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Kylian Mbappe equalized with an hour mark. Haaland scored his second 10 minutes later to put City back in front. In the 86th minute of the game, former City player Brahim Diaz scored the equalizing goal for Real. Bellingham scored the decisive goal in the second minute of injury time.

After the defeat, City defender John Stones said, 'It's difficult to react to a game like this, because we're all disappointed. We are angry about our own game. We should have done better. After such a bad result, there is only one way for the team and that is to move forward. In France, Ousmane Dembele maintained his sensational style and scored two goals and PSG won 3-0 easily over Brest.

Vitinha opened the scoring with a penalty. French player Dembele has scored 18 goals in the last 11 games. PSG coach Luis Enrique praised him and said, "Now Dembele's confidence is gone." He played very well in 2024 as well. His performance has been even better in 2025. Juventus defeated PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the match in Turin.

After American player Weston McKenney gave Juventus an early lead, Ivan Perisic equalized for the Dutch team. The decisive goal went to Samuel Mbangela. He converted a shot from close range in the 82nd minute. Borussia Dortmund are also almost in the last 16 position. The team beat Sporting Lisbon 3-0 at home. Serhu Gurassi, Pascal Gross and Karim Adeyemi scored 1 each.
