Nepal's number one amateur golfer Sadbhav Acharya has won the title of Faldo Junior Tour Nepal Championship. He won the overall and 17-21 age group.

Before the Sadbhav tournament, Faldo was automatically selected for the Junior Tour Asia Grand Final in La Laguna, Vietnam. He was directly selected because he won the title of Faldo Junior Tour European Grand Final held in UAE in November.

Prakrit Tamang who was second in the same age group was also selected. Siddhant Sapkota from boys 12-16 years age group and Avani Rai from women 12-21 years age group became the winners and managed to make it to the Asia Grand Final.

winner Sadbhav carded a total of 2-under 202 with a score of 2-under 66 at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Thursday. He trailed Prakrit Tamang by 21 strokes.

Prakrit finished second with a score of 10 over 78 overall with 19 over 223. He completed the front nine in 4 over 38 and the back nine in 6 over 40. Swapnil Bhattarai came third. He scored 11 over 79. Overall, he scored 25 overs of 229.

Siddhant, who won gold in the 12-16 age group, scored a score card of 5 over 73. He finished with an overall score of 35 over 239, trailing Soham Agarwal and Idhant Singh Saud by 10 strokes. Soham, who beat Idhant on count back, scored a total of 249. He scored 7 over 75. Idhant, who scored the same 249 as Soham, had a poor performance of 82 in 14 overs.

Girls 12-21 years Avani Rai stood first. She scored a total of 254 with a 13-over 81. She beat Anabhadya Malla by a wide margin of 28 strokes. Anabhadya scored a total of 282.

In the 9-hole tournament for junior boys, Aryav Shah came first, Dev Jalan came second and Sanyog Khanal came third. Riju Rai, Adriti Thapa and Sreesha Kandal stood first, second and third respectively for the Gauls.

Executive President of Nepal Golf Association Pavitra Kumar Karki, President of Royal Nepal Golf Club Madhukar Yakthumwa, Captain Mithun Rai and Lady Captain Arsia Banu distributed the prizes to the winning players.
