Bright Horizon Children's Home has reached the semi-finals of the 2nd Inter-School Armed Police Inspector General Running Trophy Football Tournament. Bright Horizon defeated Green Village Education Foundation Kirtipur by 5-4 in the penalty shootout after the match ended in a tie of 1-1.
Sainik Residential College Sallaghari also reached the semi-finals from another match held at Nepal APF School Kirtipur. Sainik defeated Janseva Secondary School Kirtipur by 3-2. Ishan Tamang, Safal Thapa and Rojit Khatri scored the goals.
Bright Horizon's Sandesh Mahatara and Sainik's Sudeep Devkota were selected as the best players. Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Kavindra Maharjan presented the trophy to both of them.
