Radiant Public, Ribs, Swarnim and the host The Excelsior School reached the semi-finals of the 11th Excelsior Cup Basketball Senior Girls on Wednesday.

Radiant defeated Landmark Academy with a score of 23-10. Radiant's Divyansha Karki scored 13 points. The Ribs beat LRI by a score of 15-9. Ribs' Supriya Malla scored 6. Swarnim beat Galaxy Public 22-8. Swarnim's Hisilhamu Lama scored 11 points. Excelsior beat The Chandbagh with a score of 14-12. Excelsior's Akina Ghimire scored 9.

Under the Excelsior Cup, New Zenith defeated Kavya 2-0, Excelsior defeated Valley View 3-0, Rai School defeated Chandbagh 1-0 and Swastishree Gurukul secured the semifinals by defeating John Dewey 2-1.

In U-14, Excelsior 'Red' beat Imperial World 2-0, Vidyavani Pathshala beat Magus 3-0, Excelsior 'Blue' beat John Dewey 5-1 and Kathmandu Lincoln beat Bodhisattva 1-0 to confirm their place in the semi-finals.

In U-16, Nisharg Vatika defeated Radiant Public 3-0, Ribs defeated Galaxy 2-0, Swastishree Gurukul defeated New Era Academy and Bodhisattva beat Excelsior in tiebreakers to reach the semi-finals. In the U-9 age group, Excelsior has confirmed the semi-final clash with Sanskriti and Rai School against Kavya.
