Inter Milan defeated Fiorentina 2-1 on Monday in Italy's Serie A and took revenge for last week's defeat. After this win, Inter has narrowed the gap with Napoli at the top of the league table to one point.
In the match at San Siro, Inter was ahead with Manir Pongrasic's own goal. At the end of the second half, Rolando Mandragora equalized for Fiorentina. In the second half, Marko Arnovic scored the decisive goal.
Earlier, Inter took advantage of Napoli's draw with Udinese. Napoli has 55 points from 24 games while Inter has 54 points from the same game. Defending champions Inter will now travel to Turin next week.
Napoli will host fourth place Lazio. Lazio is on 45 points while Atalanta is third on 50 points.
