The seventh edition of the Bagmati Gold Cup national football tournament will be held from February 3. The Sports Development Committee of Bagmati Rural Municipality had previously announced that it will be held from February 1.

 The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) revised the date of the Bagmati Gold Cup at the request of the organizers after the preparations were not completed.

The chairman of the committee Raharsingh Thing informed that the competition will run from February 3-13. The competition will be held at Shahid Memorial Stadium in Bagmati Rural Municipality-4, Jhurjhure. Earlier editions were held at Janata Mavi Faparbari.

The winner will get 10 lakhs and the runner-up will get 5 lakhs. The best players will win 1 lakh 1 thousand in the competition in which 7 teams of A division and 3 teams of Mofusal will participate. Last year's edition was won by Machindra Club.
