The host The Excelsior School has entered the quarter finals in Basketball Senior Boys/Girls under the 11th Excelsior Cup.

Songmen Tamang added 20 points when Excelsior defeated Baby Angels 29-21 in the senior boys' home court on Sunday. In Senior Girls, Excelsior Rato won Group 'A' after defeating LRI 9-8. Winner's Akina Ghimire scored 6. LRI also advanced as runners-up.

In the senior boys, LRI defeated Sanktur 43-37, Holivision defeated People's Academy 35-28 and Radiant Public defeated Galaxy Public 30-29. Ritesh Shrestha of Holyvision scored 10 and Karthik Thapa of Radiant Public scored 7.

In Boys Futsal U-11, Excelsior defeated Galaxy 5-1, The Chandbagh School defeated Greenfield 2-0 and Valley View defeated Bodhivriksha 7-0. In the next match, Excelsior and Chandbagh drew 1-1.

In U-16, New Era defeated LRI by 4-1 goals, while the match between Excelsior and Bodhisattva ended in a 1-1 draw. In U-14, Kathmandu Lincoln defeated Galaxy Public by 3-2 goals.
