Friendly football will be held this week on the occasion of Chinese New Year. Nepal and China's Yunnan Youth Team will compete in the match to be held at Dasharath Stadium on Saturday. Since last year, the process of organizing friendly football has started as part of the Chinese New Year.
The organizers of the friendly football are the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, National Sports Council and All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). It is believed that the relationship between the two countries will be strengthened through this friendly football. Various cultural tableaux will also be performed before the friendly football.
ANFA is conducting closed training by including 45 young players for the preparation of this friendly match. Its coach is Rajesh Shahi. The total budget of friendly football is 38 lakh 90 thousand rupees. Regarding this, in the press conference held on Sunday, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Chinese Embassy, Wang Xin, informed that this time a strong team is coming from Yunnan.
