The host Gyan Sanskar School became the team champion in the 2nd Gyan Sanskar National Inter-School Skate Competition. Gyan Sanskar became the team champion by scoring 61 points.

Shri Shiva came second with 27 points in the competition held on Saturday with the support of Nepal Skating and Skateboarding Association and Nepal Rollball Association. Alkapuri, who was third, scored 7 points.

The winners were awarded by National Sports Council member Anjan Dhamala, Gyan Sanskar Management Committee Chairman Pitambar Badu, Principal Neelam Bania and others.

Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, Tanklal Ghising, stated that skating is becoming very popular among children today and expressed the opinion that schools also play an important role in the development and expansion of Nepali sports. 200 athletes competed in 12 different events in the one-day tournament.
