The seventh edition of the Wagmati Gold Cup National Football Tournament organized by the Wagmati Rural Municipality Sports Development Committee is going to start from February 3rd. Earlier, the sports development committee had informed through a press conference that the games will be held from February 1st.

According to the letter dated January 7th of All Nepal Football Association, Wagmati Gold Cup is going to start from February 3rd.

'The competition will start from February 3rd and end on February 13th,' he said. The earlier editions were held at Janata Mavi Phaparbari playground. The first team in the competition  10 lakh and the second place team will receive a shield, medal and certificate along with 5 lakh rupees. Thing informed . competition. Organizers estimate that 74 lakh 73 thousand rupees will be spent for conducting the competition. Sports Development Committee member secretary Pramod Rai informed that the best player of the

competition will be given 1 lakh 1 thousand and the best player in the category will be given 25 thousand rupees, and the man of the match of each game will be given a shield with 10 thousand rupees. The title of the previous sixth edition was won by Machindra Club Kathmandu.
