Bayern Munich defeated Werder Bremen 3-0 in the German Bundesliga on Friday and took a nine-point lead at the top. English captain Harry Kane scored two goals from the penalty.

Meanwhile, Leroy Sen added a goal. After a goalless first half, Kane scored the first goal in the 56th minute. His personal second goal was possible in the seventh minute of injury time of the second half. Sen scored in the 82nd minute.

After this victory, Bayern has 54 points from 21 games and was heading towards the league title. Bayer Leverkusen is in second place with 45 points from 20 games. Breman was in eighth place with 30 points.
