Anup Ghalan memorial U-16 city level football tournament is going to be held in Hetaunda. With the financial support of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city, a city-level football tournament is going to be conducted from the 7th of February in the organization of the City Sports Development Committee.
Anupam Ghalan of Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-12 died in a landslide at Sisneri in Makwanpur last October. Rabindra Prasad Ghimire, Chairman of City Sports Development Committee, Hetouda, said that after the death of Ghalan, a teenage player of ANFA Academy, a competition is going to be organized in his memory. The competition will be held at the Pipley-Campa stadium located in Hetaunda-5. President Ghimire said in a press conference that Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city has allocated a budget of 7 lakh rupees for the
competition. . "We will continue the competition in the coming year," he said. The winning team of the
competition will receive a shield, medal and certificate along with one lakh rupees, while the runner-up team will receive a shield, medal and certificate along with 70,000 rupees. In the competition The best players in each category will receive a prize of Rs 5,000 and a trophy.
