Ramechhap's Likhubhuji Club has entered the finals of the 46th Hangthum Cup held at Sankhuwasabha Mulkhark. In Friday's semi-final, Ramechhap defeated Danda Youth of Dhankuta by 4-0 goals to reach the final.

On behalf of Ramechhap, Manvij Rai scored a goal in the fourth minute of the game and gave the team the lead. Prakash Jimmy scored another goal for Ramechhap in the 12th minute of the second half. Manvij Rai added another goal in the 17th minute of the second half. In the 38th minute of the second half, Praveen Sunuwar scored 1 goal against Srijan. 

Similarly, in the other semi-final held on Friday, Sunsari's Srikan Youth defeated Jhapa's Chulachuli Sporting Club by 1-0 goals. Piang Rai's goal in the 22nd minute of the second half was decisive for Srijana Youth. With the win, Srijana Youth has also reached the finals. Asim Jimi, the chairman of Hangthum, the organizer, said that on Saturday he will fight with Likhubhuji Club of Ramechhap for the title.  The final of the

competition will be held on Saturday at Madi Municipality-3 Mulkhark. The winner of the competition will have to settle for 200,200 rupees and the runner-up will have to settle for 100,100,100 rupees. 8 teams from Jhapa, Dhankuta, Sunsari, Ramechhap and Sankhuwasabha participated in the competition.
