Ramechhap's Likhubhuji Youth has entered the semi-finals of the 46th Hangthum Cup held at Mulkhark of Sankhuwasabha after defeating the host.

Ramechhap defeated the host Hangthum Club by 1-0 goals and entered the semi-finals. Karan Khadka scored a goal in the 35th minute of the second half for Ramechhap in Tuesday's match. Karan's only goal took Ramechhap to the semifinals. Hangthum missed many opportunities to score.

The third match will be played between Chulachuli Sporting of Jhapa and Advance Club of Sankhuwasabha on Wednesday. The winner of the competition will get Rs 200,200 and the runner-up will get Rs 110,100.  8 teams from Jhapa, Dhankuta, Sunsari, Ramechhap and Sankhuwasabha are participating in the

competition. The final of the competition will be held on January 26.
