The last quarterfinal match of the 25th International Invitational Budhasubba Gold Cup football tournament is taking place today.
In the match to be held at Dharan Stadium at 3:15 pm, the former winners New Road Team (NRT) Club and Jhapa's Kakdvitta Football Training Center will compete.
The winner of today's match will play against India's United Kharsang Football Club UK FC in the semi-finals on Thursday to enter the final. Earlier in yesterday's match, Bhutan's RTC Football Club has reached the semi-finals by defeating National Awakening Club Itahari.
RTC will play against Church Boys on Wednesday to enter the finals. The winner of the Gold Cup, which has eight teams participating, will receive a prize of Rs 10 lakh and the runner-up will receive a prize of Rs 5 lakh. The final match will be held on Saturday.
