One Day Academy and Forever wins

One Day Cricket Academy and Forever Cricket Boys Club have won the Kathmandu district selection for the Prime Minister's Cup men's national cricket tournament on Monday. One day beat Himalayan Cricket Academy 'B' by 57 runs and Forever beat Nexus Cricket Academy by 5 wickets.

Biswas Khatri scored 29 runs off 26 balls, Neeraj Oli scored 25 runs off 30 balls and Bhupeshwar Mahato scored 13 runs off 18 balls. Himalayan's Suman Vishwakarma took 4 wickets with 11 runs and Aditya Thapa took 2 wickets with 24 runs.

In response, Himalayan were bowled out for 66 runs in 13 overs. Apart from Abhishek Budhair scoring 30 runs in 36 balls, others could not score double. Naveen Kumar Joshi scored 9 runs in 16 balls. Mani Gayre took 5 wickets for 13 runs, Vakhar Thapa took 2 wickets for 13 runs and Bhupeshwar took 1 wicket.

In the next match, Nexus lost 7 wickets and scored 111 runs. Mohammad Dilsad Alam scored an unbeaten 63 off 61 balls. Anil Kumar Yadav scored 16 runs and Kasif Samad scored 10 runs. Forever's Ajay Nakarmi and Pankaj Pant took 2 each and Laxman Karki took 1 wicket. Jatin Thapa scored 27 not out, Ajay 21 and Krishna Bhatt scored 12 not out, and Forever completed the target in 17.3 overs. Biplav Phuyal of Nexus took 2 wickets and Suraj Rai and Suyog Dahal took 1 wicket each.
