Preparations for the second edition of the Godavari Municipality Level Inter-School Seven A Side Football Tournament have been completed. 17 schools within the municipality are competing in the competition which will start from Tuesday organized by the organizer Sri Gyan Kund Yuva Club.
The organizers held a press conference on Sunday and informed that the preparations were completed and tacit tickets were also drawn. 17 teams are divided into 4 groups. While there are 5 teams in the group insurance, there are 4 teams in the other three groups. In the press conference held today, Nikesh Shrestha, executive chairman of Gyankunda Yuva Club, said that the top 2 teams of each group will enter the quarterfinals in the
league-cum-knockout competition. Deepak Shrestha, who is also a former player of Sankata Club, informed that the club has organized a competition for the development of sports in schools within the municipality.
Likewise, Milan Silwal, Ward President of Godavari Municipality Ward No. 5 informed that the municipality is working for sports infrastructure and promised that they are always ready to work in the field of youth and sports.
