In the fourth stage of Nepal's first 100-mile KVR stage race challenge organized by Trialmandu on Saturday, Ram Chandra Mahatara and Sonya Martin became first in the men's category and women's category.
In the men's 35 km race that started in Ranikot and ended in Pharping, Ram Chandra completed the specified distance in 4 hours 24 minutes 58 seconds. Bishal Gurung was the runner-up with a time of 4 hours 29 minutes 4 seconds and Raja Mahtara finished the race in 4 hours 33 minutes 54 seconds and finished third.
Sinima Sherpa, who became the women's champion, did not complete the race in five hours, 12 minutes and 36 seconds. Similarly, Sonya Martin, who was satisfied with the runner-up time, clocked 5 hours, 14 minutes and 8 seconds. Anisha Gurung finished third with a time of 5 hours 48 minutes 33 seconds.
