Under the organization of CPN (UML) Ribdikot Palpa-Kathmandu contact platform, the municipal level indoor cricket tournament will start on Saturday. Thakur Prasad Gayre, a member of the House of Representatives, unveiled the trophy in Kathmandu on Thursday.
Ramhari Shahi Samundri, in-charge of Sampark Mancha, said that even though the trophy is made of copper, brass and other materials, it is a symbol of respect. Kamal Prasad Pandey, President of the Contact Forum, informed that 8 teams will participate in the tournament to be held at the Great Himalayan Cricket Academy in Hattivan, Lalitpur.
winner will get 20,000 with trophy, medal and certificate and runner-up team will get 11,000 in cash.
