Netherlands batting in control of Thailand

The Netherlands have set a target of 123 runs to Thailand in the second match of the triangular Women's Twenty20 series. The Netherlands decided to bat after winning the toss and scored 122 runs after losing 6 wickets at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Friday.

Captain Babette de Lyde scored the highest 52 runs. She played 50 balls and hit 8 fours. Iris Willing scored 28 runs off 35 balls with 2 fours. Phebe Molkenboer 2, Ster Kallis 4, Robin Rijke 7, Carlijn van Culwijk were out for 8 runs.

From Thailand, Thiptcha Puthavong took 2 wickets and Onicha Kamchomphu took 2 wickets in 4 overs for 27 runs. The Netherlands defeated Nepal by 20 runs in the previous match. Thailand's first match in the tournament.
