Police beat Army in Tiger Cup final

After defeating Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club has entered the men's division of the Ncell 5th Tiger Cup National and International Volleyball Tournament held in Pokhara. Police secured their place in the final by defeating Army 3-2 in the match held at Pokhara Stadium on Friday.

Police won the first set by 25-14 and handed the second set to Army by 22-25. After winning the third set 25-22, Police lost again in the fourth set 23-25. However, in the fifth set, they won 15-12 with an excellent

performance. The defeated Army will now play the second qualifier against the winner between Gandaki Pradesh and India's Sunil Volleyball.

Earlier, APF club entered the women's field by defeating the host Tiger Group in a match held on Friday morning.

The defeated host Tiger Group will compete against Tiptop New Diamond Sports Club for entry to the finals on Saturday. The third match on Friday is between Gandaki Pradesh and Sunil Volleyball Club of India in the eliminator for men. The winner of the eliminator will play the second qualifier against Army.
