Prime Global's Prajna Maharjan has won the gold medal in U-12 girls singles of the 9th Krishnadhwaj Memorial Table Tennis Tournament. Prajna defeated Saira Shakya of Adarsh Vidya Mandir (AVM) by 3-1 sets in the final held at the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur on Thursday. Taya Bungma Rai of AVM and Suhana Maharjan of James came third.
Gandaki University's Gananjay Dahal and Canon's Himal Bista have reached the finals in boys singles of the college side of the tournament organized by Red Tiles. In the semi-finals, Gananjay defeated Sujan Gadal of Goldengate 3-1 and Himal Bisht defeated Sid Academy's Pravesh Basnet 3-0. For
girls, Ivana Thapa of AVM defeated Asma Pahri of AVM 3-0 and Sushmita Khadka of Reed Model defeated Vianka Rai of AVM 3-1 to reach the final.
