The organizers Innovative 'A' and Awareness International Academy (AIA) reached the senior boys' quarterfinals of the 10th Innovative inter-school basketball tournament on Thursday.
On the home court, Innovative defeated Asphodel with a score of 34-20. Innovative's Pujan Shrestha scored 14. AIA defeated Innovative 'B' by 29-16 on the 14 scores of Witten Gyawali.
In senior boys, KMC defeated Kavya by 30-18 and Kathmandu Xavier defeated Nepal Mega by 40-25 to secure a place in the quarterfinals. Tantra Joshi of KMC scored 10 and Samrat Shah of Xavier scored 11. Mathrubhumi, Himali, Nerik Academy and Gyan Niketan also managed to reach the quarterfinals.
In junior boys, Sunshine defeated Kavya 14-8, Kathmandu Xavier defeated Modern 13-6 and AIA defeated Innovative 15-11. Sunshine's Prashant scored 4, Kathmandu Xavier's Utsav scored 6 and AIA's Aditya Budha scored 10. In
Senior Girls, Innovative defeated Nepal Mega 15-9. Salina Amatya of Innovative added 8 scores.
