But Stere Kallis and Rijke improved the innings of the Netherlands by sharing 47 runs for the third wicket. Kalis was bowled by Sita Ranamar for 29 runs. Rijke and Heather Seegers shared a partnership of 54 runs for the fourth wicket. Siggers played 19 balls and scored 23 runs with 1 four and a six. He was caught by Sonu Bishta at long on from Ruveena Chhetri.
Rizke scored 57 runs and remained unbeaten. She played 47 balls and hit 8 fours. Another unbeaten batsman Iris Willing scored 31 runs off 13 balls. She hit 5 fours. Netherlands added 62 runs in the last 5 overs.
Kavita, Pooja, Ishwari and Sita took 1 wicket each from Nepal. Kavita scored 14 runs in 2 overs, Pooja scored 25 runs in 3 overs, Ishwari scored 1 maiden in 3 overs and Sita scored 25 runs in 3 overs.
The Netherlands will play against Thailand on Friday, while on Saturday there will be a match between Nepal and Thailand. Participating teams will play each other three times and the team with the most points will be the winner.
