Kathmandu Mavericks has entered the finals of Nepal Kabaddi League (NKL). Kathmandu defeated Biratnagar Bandits 48-26 in Qualifier 2 held on Wednesday at the stadium's Covered Hall and made it to the finals.
In the league stage, Kathmandu was defeated by Biratnagar 44-43. Kathmandu will play against Janakpur Knights for the title.
Janakpur defeated Biratnagar in Qualifier One and made it to the finals. Third in the league, Kathmandu defeated Dhangadhi Wildcats in the eliminator and qualified for Qualifier Two.
After Ghanshyam Magar, who is also the captain of the national team, performed well, Kathmandu came close to the title after defeating Biratnagar in Qualifier Two. The final between Janakpur and Kathmandu will be held on Friday.
