Anu Lama, the former striker of the Nepali national football team, has announced her retirement from domestic football matches today. 37-year-old Anu, who retired from international sports about 6 years ago, was playing domestic football for the departmental team APF.

Today  She scored a goal in the final match of ANFA Women's League football held at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar. His team APF won the title by defeating Nepal Police Club 4-0. 

APF players bid him farewell with a guard of honour. Anu made her debut in the Nepali U-23 team against Bangladesh in the women's football tournament of the South Asian Games (SAG) in 2010.

Anu performed excellently in various national and international competitions. He  She has scored 35 international goals from the national jersey in various competitions including SAFF Championship.
