Arsana Maharjan of Adarsh Vidya Mandir (AVM) won gold in the U-14 girls singles of the 9th Krishnadhwaj Smriti Table Tennis Tournament.
At the National Table Tennis Training Center in Lanchaur on Wednesday, Arsana defeated Surami Shakya of St. Mary's in straight sets 3-0 in the final. Future Star's Emreen Maharjan and Gloria's Mamta Bohra came third.
Swarnim Shakya of AVM became the winner in U-12 boys singles final. He defeated Rivan Muni Bajracharya of DAV by 3-2 sets in the final. Prabhat's successful Awal and Brihaspati's humble Ghimire came third. Under the competition organized by Red Tiles, AVM's Prajil Bhattarai and Gloria's Mahima Mahata won gold in the U-16 boys category. In the
final, Prazil defeated AVM's Jayasnu Maharjan by 3-1 sets . Bhasara's Rijan Sakya and Vachan Bista were third. Mahima defeated Darjeeling Public's Manali Chand 3-0 in the final. Prabhat's Sefina Koju and Jasmita Devnath came third.
