The Tribhuvan Army Club defeated the Nepal Police Club in the men's side of the Ncell 5th Tiger Cup National and International Club Women's and Men's Volleyball Tournament held in Pokhara.

The Army defeated the Police by 3-1 in the last match held on Tuesday as part of the ongoing tournament organized by the Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal. 

Army won the first set by 25-13 and handed over the second set to Police by 21-25. Army made a comeback in the third set and the fourth set to take the match. Army won the third set 25-15 and the fourth set 25-22. Army will now compete against Sunil Volleyball Club of India in the winner's group from the first round. The top two teams from this group will play the first qualifier. The third place team will play the eliminator. 

On the women's side, the team that will play the first qualifier has been decided. Before one match, the host team and APF have decided to play the first qualifier. Police and New Diamond will play the eliminator. The team that loses in the first qualifier and the team that wins in the eliminator will compete in the second qualifier for Philan entry. The competition will run until January 19.
