Ncell 5th Tiger Cup national and international club women's and men's volleyball tournament held in Pokhara defeated Tribhuvan Army Club and entered Nepal Police Club Eliminator.
Police entered the women's eliminator by defeating Army in straight sets 3-0 in the volleyball court at Pokhara Stadium on Tuesday morning. Police won the first set 25-18, the second set 25-21 and the third set 25-19. In the second set, the police overturned the army's lead of 16-10 and won. In the other set, the police won easily.
Police entered the eliminator after winning 6 points from the defeated group in the first round. Police earlier defeated Travel Inquiry United Passion Volleyball Club Thailand with a set of 3-1. Army and Travel Inquiry have been eliminated from the tournament before one game.
Police will now play an eliminator against the third placed team from the winner group. The winner group consists of the host Tiger Group, APF and Tiptop New Diamond Sports Club.
Currently, there is a competition between the women's tiptop New Diamond Sports Club and the host Tiger Group from the winning group. On Tuesday, the first men's match will be played between Gandaki Province and APF and the second match will be played between Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club.
