Army organizing 'Run for Unity' in Birendranagar

The Nepali Army is going to organize a 'Run for Unity' for national unity on February 3 in Birendranagar, the capital of Karnali Province. The running competition is going to be organized to promote the long distance running which is the identity of Karnali and develop the sports field to enhance the sense of national unity.

The competition organized by North-West Pritna Headquarters Nemare will include long and short distance running along with walking. According to Rathi Dinesh Rajoure, assistant of Prithna, the program was organized with the aim of enhancing the sense of national unity.

He said that Run for Unity is going to be organized to strengthen the relationship between the Nepalese army and the people. Assistant Rathi Rajourey said, 'Our pride is our army with the slogan of walking from five kilometers to 21 kilometers.'

Army organizing 'Run for Unity' in Birendranagar Government office employees, provincial and local level people's representatives, Nepali army's willing gross ranks, representatives of various organizations and former security personnel will participate in the five-kilometer road. The Army expects about 1,000 participants in the 10 km open men's and open women's races.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 5 km race will get 10,000, 5,000 and 3,000 respectively, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 10 km will get 20,000, 10,000 and 5,000 cash respectively, while 21 km race will get 35,000 for first place. , the second runner-up will get 25,000 and the third runner-up will get 15 prizes and a certificate. On the day of the

competition, the Nepali Army has also organized a military material and photo exhibition. According to the Army, photographs of the main tasks performed by the units in the past along with the materials and equipment used by the combat and combat support forces under the North-West corridor will be exhibited.
