With the victory of Dhaka University, the equation of Jai Nepal Cup South Asian University T20 cricket tournament is complete. Dhaka won their third match in a row and reached the knockout stage as Group 'A' winners.

Dhaka defeated Babasaheb Bhimrao Bihar University by 7 wickets on Sunday. Dhaka's victory also secured Tribhuvan University's place in the semi-finals. Dhaka won 3 matches and Triwi won 2 matches. Bihar managed to win only 1 match while Purvanchal University lost all 3 matches.

Dhaka will play Lucknow University and Triville will play Midwestern University in the first semi-final on Monday. In Group B, Midwest won all 3 matches while Lucknow won 2 matches. Kathmandu University could win only 1 match while Delhi University could not win any match.

Vishal Raj scored 42 off 26 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes, Imran Hashmi scored 22 with 2 fours and 1 six off 21 balls and Mohammad Adil Alam scored 19 runs off 8 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes but lost the toss and came into bat to make 100 in 20 overs. He was all out for 27 runs. Dhaka's Mohuddin Tarek and Iftikhar Hussain took 2 wickets each.

After Mahafizul Islam scored an unbeaten 75 runs, Dhaka scored 129 runs in 16.5 overs. Player of the match He played 60 balls and hit 9 fours and 2 sixes. Mohammad Rahman scored 34 runs with the help of 2 fours and 1 six off 33 balls. Vishalraj took 2 wickets from Bihar.
