The Gandaki Pradesh team lost to the Nepal Police Club in the men's second match of the Ncell 5th Tiger Cup national and international club women's and men's volleyball tournament on Sunday.

Gandaki was defeated 3-2 by the provincial police in the volleyball court at Pokhara Rangshala. Gandaki, who lost the first two sets, made an excellent comeback in the third and fourth sets, but had to forfeit the match as he could not hold on in the fifth set.

Police won the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-21 in their favor. Gandaki won the third set 25-19 and the fourth set 25-14. In the fifth set, Gandaki failed to maintain the initial lead and had to lose the game 15-10. 

Sunday's final match is between Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force (APF). The competition organized by Tiger Group of Pokhara will last until January 19. 6-6 teams are participating in the competition for women and men.
